Rahul, the lead guitarist for One Buck Short, told me last week that they were working on something big for themselves and also the music scene. Listening to their plans was enough already for me to make me shiver with excitement. When I was their band manager, I had a vision with them on changing the Malaysian music business, especially on the Web. The dream was cut short, but somehow or rather, the band spirit never die. That's what I love about One Buck Short.
This coming June, ROCKAWAY 2009 will bring the hottest bands together and perform in front of their fans at CapSquare, Kuala Lumpur. Bunkface, Bittersweet, Pop Shuvit, and of course One Buck Short and others will rock it out at this FREE concert, brought to you by Jack-n-Jill Roller Coaster.
